CONGRATULATIONS SHELLEY! YAY its feels so great to see her name listed for a Pre-Nomination in the Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series category. We are so happy for her!

Shelley was nominated alongside her Days friend and castmate Molly Burett (Melanie).

Let’s hope this turns into an actual nomination in a few months. So keep your fingers crossed.

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) today announced the Drama Performer Pre-Nominations for the 37th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy® Awards.

A preliminary drama performer ballot containing each of the six performer categories was assigned to all registered, eligible peer voters from NATAS and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. This ballot contained the full list of all entrants submitted from each show and each voter was entitled to select as many candidates as they believed worthy of Emmy® consideration. The candidates below who received the highest number of votes for each show in each category now advance to the final at-home screening round. This round, due to be conducted in March and April, 2010, will determine both nominees and winners.

The 37th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy® Awards will be produced by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in late June, 2010.

What’s that? A new HOT guy is headed to Salem and he has a date with who? FINALLY! Our girl is getting some action. Yes, it was a little boring with it being Days Of Melanie’s Lives, yup that’s what it was turning into and Steph was there to help prop her up. Let’s hope this injection of new hunk is a great fit for Ms. Stephanie Johnson.

We Love Soaps recently interviewed up and coming actor Erik David, star of the action-packed film Heist, who had started his career working on ALL MY CHILDREN and YOUNG & THE RESTLESS.

Not more than a few days after our interview ran, he came to We Love Soaps with news that DAYS OF OUR LIVES has hired him in the role of “Aaron.”

I am on a date with Stephanie…Nathan is a little jealous in the scene so he bullies me out of the room. As of right now it is only one episode, but they’re hoping that Aaron may find his way into the storyline mix.

Congratulations, Erik! We will be watching, and hoping that Aaron has many “days” ahead!

Ms. Shelley’s team did in fact pull out an amazing win tonight at Super Bowl XLIV.  So congrats indeed to the New Orleans Saints for a well deserved win and I know the city/state is celebrating right now!

Why its Stephanie’s Aunt Adrienne of course!  That’s right, Judi Evans (ex-Bonnie, DAYS) will reprise her role as Adrienne Johnson Kiriakis.  We last saw her in town somewhere around 2008 when upon leaving she left the Cheating Hart bar to Steph’s then beau, Max Brady.

It really was only a matter of time that she be asked to come back since they’ve had her television husband Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) back on-screen.  So I am really happy for more family members from the Johnson clan.  if only we could get her mom and dad back on then that’d be icing on the cake.
