On the front page of Soap Opera Digest/Weekly online they have the low-down on just who Shelley will be rooting for!

She’s a Hometown girl indeed.

Shelley was in Los Angeles Friday night in support of her great friend and former Miss California USA 2009 (as well as Miss Teen USA 2003; she crowned Shelley in 2004) Ms. Tami Farrell as she made a milkshake for, Millions Of Milkshakes.  It looks really good and I want to try it – they should bring her creation to Coldstone Creamery that’s the only thing we have close to MoM.

She named it Tami’s Earthquake Shake with the proceeds going towards helping Haiti. How wonderful is that? So if you’re in the Los Angeles area stop by Millions of Milkshakes and try Ms. Tami’s delicious creation.

Soap Opera Digest has revealed on their twitter page @SoapDigest that Darin Brooks (ex-Max, DAYS ) is coming back for a few episodes!  I’m guessing it’ll have something to do with Melanie and this now preposterous story that basically dumps everything Stephanie/Max did last summer but whatever.

So anyway let’s rejoice YAY! I seriously want to see Max interact with Stephanie because I absolutely love them together on-screen.  Darin & Shelley just had that instant magic and I was watching some old clips from last year and I’m also capping from two years ago so a lot of things are in store.

I love when the magazines do stuff like this – it just makes my day. This is her second solo interview since joinging the show. She also did a joint interview with co-star Jay Kenneth Johnson (Philip) back in mid 2009. So keep a watch out for that post!

Shaping Up With DAYS’s Shelley Hennig

Long, lean Shelley Hennig (Stephanie, DAYS) has found a brand-new way to keep her body in tip-top shape, and it all revolves around a ballet bar. The actress fills us in on the exercise routine that she not only loves, but also credits with changing her life.

Soap Opera Weekly: You sound very excited about this new routine of yours. What can you tell us about it?
Shelley Hennig: I work out at a place called Cardio Barre with Molly Burnett (Melanie). I try to go four or five times a week. There’s a ballet bar, and they play music. What you’re doing is fast ballet movements. So it’s a lot of cardio work and ballet form, which I love.

Weekly: Did you introduce Molly to this, or did she turn you on to it?
Hennig: I heard about it from numerous people. Molly actually started going before me. I didn’t have the guts to try this intense workout. When I finally decided to give it a try, it changed my life. It really has. I actually look forward to it, and I hate working out.

Weekly: You hate working out?!
Hennig: I do [laughs]! I love to eat. I’m from New Orleans. I eat like nobody’s business. So to find a workout that I actually look forward to is a lifesaver.

Weekly: What’s the class like?
Hennig: It’s an hour long, and there are 30 people in the room. We all have our own space working at the ballet bar. You get to stretch at the end. If I ever decided to start dancing professionally again, I could do it in a heartbeat, thanks to this class. I have my strength back now, as well as my flexibility.

Weekly: Where have you noticed the biggest change in your body?
Hennig: Well, women tend to put weight on in their hips, and that’s usually hard to [get rid of]. I have really toned up that area a lot since I started this.

Weekly: Are you and Molly compatible workout partners?
Hennig: We totally are. We both enjoy the class a lot. Unfortunately, we haven’t seen each other at Cardio Barre in a while, because our schedules have been completely different. But when I see her there, I get excited. It’s always fun to work out with someone.

Awhile back Shelley met up with her Days Of Our Lives co-stars Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe), Shawn Christian (Daniel), Bryan Datillo (soon-to-be ex-Lucas) and James Reynolds (Abe) a day later in Detroit! On the official Days website they added a number of photos of Shelley and I’m adding them to our gallery!

Days Tour of Detroit: Round Two

On Thursday, Shawn Christian joined Nadia Bjorlin, James Reynolds and Bryan Dattilo at the Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries. Here, they helped to unload food provided by Gleaners Community Food Bank, made over the clients’ rooms and served lunch. All this, plus plenty of time to meet and greet and sign autographs made for a full morning.

After this, the whole group, along with Shelley Hennig, headed to the Parade Company. There, Shelley talked to some Girl Scout troops about life in the spotlight and everyone took a tour of the giant warehouse full of floats, some complete and others in various stages of being built.

She looks so gorgeous and so does the rest of the cast. So check them out as soon as possible. Collen & I have been working hard on getting the remainder of the caps for you all. We’re almost done so YAY. They’ve been delayed since my normal source was out of her homeland for more than a month. She deserved the vacation but that meant we had to find an alternative source which actually turned out to be Colleen! So expect bigger screencaps! I know in the past some of you have asked me about that and there really wasn’t anything I could do, it capped the size of the video.

How gorgeous does she look?! Shelley has a roundtable interview with various media outlets (Shine On Media took this amazing footage) at the Day Of Our Lives set in preparation for the Day Of Days Event! She speaks very candidly about how she misses her on-screen parents Mary Beth Evans (ex-Kayla) and Stephen Nichols (ex-Steve “Patch”). I love what she had to say about Wes Ramsey (ex-Owen) and they seriously had some light the bed on fire chemistry! As much as I love they’re testing the waters of Stephanie & Nathan – we all know how that’s going to end because his heart just really isn’t in it from my standpoint so bring someone on that is hot and only has eyes for our girl Steph. That’s all I want.

Also, I don’t know if you’ve heard about this or not but Mr. Stephen Nichols has managed to book himself a very high profile gig on the number one rated soap opera for the past 20+ years, The Young & The Restless! He’s the recast for Tucker McCall ( he takes over for William Russ; but I read he was who they originally had wanted for the role).
