Happy New Year!

I hope things will look up for all of you in the 2009.

Shelley was featured in Soap Opera  Digest (no word on Weekly yet) this week twice!

They did another one of those hair polls that fans got to vote on – and I’m a little surprised by the results.  She looks amazing with either of the 3 looks but I’m liking this one a lot more because it’s business savvy chic and Shelley works it.

Shelley was also in the Q&A Round-Up section of the mag.  They asked: New Year’s Resolutions for yourself?  And for your character?

Shelley talked a bit about that and we should have something for you soon.  The gallery is open again, I had to do maintenance and it was better than making it offline.  I’ll be back in there in a week or so once we get the new gallery layout.

TV Guide Network is rebroadcasting it’s Sexy countdown for both men and women; it’s going on right now for the men.  The women will start at 8:00 p.m. EST.  So check your local TV Guide channel for the station it airs were you are. 

Shelley came in on the countdown at No. 21.  If you don’t have the channel then definitely stop by the media vault to see the clip there.

Sooo sorry I was late, I was pulling late night school duty, 6 a.m. Saturday I finished on paper and it took me 15 hours from last night to this morning to complete my last paper.  I’ve predicted my grade outcome and so far I am 3 for 4 – I’m awaiting one more and hopefully he adds it soon.

Now, I’m going to be on schedule this month and into January since Uni starts back on the 12th of January which should give us a lot of time.

I also uploaded 2 photos from Miss Teen USA 2005 (Opening Number & Crowning).  I also uploaded Shelley’s SOW, Bet You Didn’t know.  So, did you know all those cool accomplishments?

Lets give it up for snow days–I’ve got ALL the clips from this week up in the Video Vault, including the HOTNESS of Stephanie and Phillip.  Like Qua said, this is so a pairing I can get behind right now!

Ok, so it’s 5:15 a.m. and I’m trying to upload screencaps from Dec. 18 (I know I’m late, sorry – I was out almost all night with Family at our Annual Cookie Bake!) and so far only 134 of 166 are uploaded.  I’ll be doing my last paper (5 pages) of the semester almost all day after I wake and do some chores.  I’ll take breaks and add the rest of the 18th and then do Dec. 19 and finally check and see if Steph will be on Monday’s episode and add those as well.  So check back often throughout the day.

 I know, I know – so many S & P previews but I can’t help it. They’re just adorable, Colleen and I like them! I can be down with this pairing until (probably have to wait months) Stax reunite.

Plus, how cute were Stephanie & Caroline at the Pub?  When Steph made a comment about Mel having no soul and Caroline replied back, “You’re bad.” 

Also Coll sent over a new Shelley scan!  She was in SOW this week under “Bet You Didn’t Know” – sad but true, I knew all of what they printed, but maybe you don’t and I’ll add that as well.  I’m really excited one of my Profs. posted grades and I got a A- in Intro To Acting!  I’m surprised but this class was a challenge for me to see if I could do it.  But I do believe that actors (especially soap stars) do not have it easy, it’s so much dialogue to remember and blocking it makes your head hurt.  The class really liked my monologue when we first started and our two-person scene. 

There was a Day Of Days mini on SOAPnet and Thanks to the amazing Pat, for grabbing the video for us, I was able to make screencaps and add them to the gallery.  Shelley’s was nice, she was surprised at how many fans love Stephanie (how can you not?!) and she later signed-off with Peter R. (Bo).

I’ve added screencaps from last Friday, Dec. 12 and today – Dec. 16.  I will be adding tomorrow a little late since I have to run downtown in the morning and turn in my English Drama Final and finish another one for Thursday.  But we’re almost all caught up.  I just have to add the Daily Image Recap pictures and then Fin. 

I’ve come to the conclusion that my nickname for Melanie is Moment Killer, I don’t know if you’re familiar with Scrubs or not when J.D. kept calling Elliot that – because she came in and killed some of the best moments he was having… well our little Melanie does just that with S&P so tune in tomorrow to see what I’m talking about.  Psychotic, Crazy, Jealous Max – not cute at.  all.

I’ve enlisted the help of my great friend Narges to help me out in creating a new design for the gallery.  I sent her over some pics this morning and it should e done in a day or two and hopefully up in the gallery before the week is out.  I’m so excited and I can’t wait to see the final result.  She’s going to wow me again just like she has with past layouts for my other sites.

Also, I will be getting a layout for the media gallery (FINALLY!) so that we have a cool graphic there to look at while getting videos.  So check back for more updates.
