I added Monday’s caps this morning, in total there are 140 caps in the gallery for the 20th.  It’s a good episode and Bo & Hope, to me, are hilarious. I’m sorry, I overlooked it and accidentally left the caps of Bo & Hope that I found funny because of they way they were looking at Melanie as she tried to lay a trap for Stephanie.  Here are some previews:

Ok, I usually hate to rave about a performance because I doubt you all want to hear it but I can’t keep quiet today and I have to share.  I just finished watching today’s episode of Days Of Our Lives (If you haven’t then you need to get on it asap!) and… WOW Shelley!  Can we please get more angry Steph?  Did you see the fire and intensity behind her attack of Melanie?  I loved every second of it.  The picture that we posted in the gallery definitely didn’t do this scene justice.  Favorite quote:

Melanie: “She started it.”

Stephanie: “… and I’m gonna finish it.” (Goes for the kill.)

Bravo Ms. Hennig, Bravo!

In Soap Opera Weekly we have, A Closer Look: Stephanie

It’s a more in-depth look into the character through the portrayer.  Shelley teased about upcoming issues that will rear their ugly head in regards to Stax and it sounds like it’s going to be rather emotional so if you’re the crying type, you may need a box.  I hope it’s written well because I know they’ll give it their all and hopefully grab 2009 Emmy Nominations.

In Soap Opera Digest, Shelley partook in Do Tell! and she was apart of The Tattletales with Nadia (Chloe), Darin (Max) and Rachel (Chelsea).  SOD asked castmembers from each show a series of questions in regards to their cast as a whole.  They were asked questions like:

• Biggest Practical Joker
• Funniest
• Best Dressing Room

… and much more.  We’ll have a scan for you hopefully later today.  Be warned that if you read the A Closer Look article you may happen upon spoilers so if you don’t like to read them, do not look at that article.

Darin Brooks’ Five Greatest DAYS 

Check this out, Soap Opera Digest Online, talked with Darin Brooks (Max Brady) about his 5 Greatest Moments on Days Of Our Lives since joining the show in 2005.  He included the romantic pairing of Stax on his list.  How cute.

“The Max and Stephanie romance has definitely been a highlight. Particularly when the characters finally made love. Those scenes were good and they were shot really well. I know this has nothing to do with Shelley but this is in part regards to the show she works on.  I was a little saddned to read earlier tonight that James. E. Reilly had passed away.  You may know him as the head writer of various soaps from Days Of Our Lives to Passions and so on.

I can’t really remember if he wrote for Shelley’s Stephanie, I want to say he did but it’s really escaping me right now… I definitely know he wrote for Shayna’s portrayl of Stephanie.  I was indeed a fan of his writing up until early 2003 when Passions became just plain weird to me and unrecognizable.  Although I did like some of the things he did with Days when he came back that same year.

He’s giving us some interesting… to say the least… storylines during his time on Days and definitely as the creator and head writer of Passions, there’s so many firsts with that soap I’m not even going to try and start listing them.

But he will be missed for his creative genius and wacky storytelling, if you were an avid viewer of Passions then you definitely know what I’m talking about.

On behalf of the SSO staff we’d like to extend our condolences to the Reilly family, friends and many of his co-workers from writers to actors.  We’re sorry for your loss. 

Sorry for being late but I am updating this past weeks screencaps to the gallery and will update today’s sometime later in the evening I just got today’s episode and there is no Stepganie so the only dates that will be added are the two days from this week.  I have already updated the gallery with scenes from the 8th and I’m now working on the 9th – so soon that’ll be uploaded as well.
