I also uploaded 84 pics of Shelley’s June Days appearance; There wasn’t a lot of Steph/Max so that’s why you only have 84.  I’m going to continue with May on Friday when I go back to work since that computer is faster when I’m getting the episodes. I’ll have previews of those later.

While on my lunch hour I cam across the magazine, Soap Opera Weekly.  In their pages was the beautiful Shelley and her character Stephanie.  SOW gave you the fans the inside scoop on Stephanie’s two different looks the animal print type blouse she wore while working with Anna and hanging with Max at the Pub and the absolutely beautiful blue dress she’s wearing currently.

The event is to benefit the South Pasadena High School Boys Basketball Program.

Beemer encourages fans to get their early. Doors will open at 7 pm. There will be a raffle and a silent auction. General Admission tickets are $15 for all attendees. VIP tickets are $165. I’m so sorry this information is incredibly late and last minute but I just got a hold of it myself.  So we hope you can make it to the game if you live in the California or Pasadena area.

I’ve gotten numerous questions regarding Shelley’s blog and why it’s no longer there – I, like most of you, do not know why its been deleted (it appears that way), when or if it’s coming back –  and I don’t have an answer to your questions.  You’ll (and I) just have to wait it out and see what happens.

Finally!  I’ve been waiting to see one of these with someone I know or a charcter I like.  Shelley and Darin were on CU@USC to dish the dirt on Days.  You can view that video here.  We’ll also provide you with screencaps and clips of it later on. Soooo if you haven’t seen by now – SSO has a brand new gallery layout.  I love the dark theme with b/w photos surrounded by a beautiful color photoshoot pic Shelley did.  Check it out if you haven’t had the chance.  I’d like to thank forum member jp (sorry for abbrev. your name) for bringing the photos to my attention.

Onto the Days news -

The show HAS indeed been renewed by NBC!  It was a huge fear that NBC would cancel the soap as they did to the low-rated Passions last year, but alas alls well that ends well… NBC has decided to stick it out with the soap.  It is not known if we have a one year or 2 extention.  But you can breathe a sigh of relief – it’s sticking around.

Ok, I know it’s a bit of a distance away but Days will be airing during the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics!  Four years ago the soap was pre-empted for two weeks while the festivities went on, but we don’t have to worry about any of that this time around.

And last but not least, if you have a minute check out Shelley’s new blog entry!  She answered a ton of burning questions the fans have asked her – this will help you get to know her a little more and see what she likes and doesn’t like.  It’s a fun and insightful read.

I’ve added this still of Shelley along with Kristen, Rachel and the beautiful 2008 Miss USA Crystle Stewart.  Shelley had the chance to meet Crystle when she was crowned the successor of Miss USA 2007, Rachel Smith, back in April.

Crystle will play the Alpha Chi Theta soroity advisor to the girls and they will meet up at the popular Salem Health Club.  This episode is tentatively set to air June 20.  Check out the still in the gallery – all the girls look great.

Slowly but surely the May caps will be arriving to the gallery.  I have some down time since it seems like Shelley won’t be on in the next couple of days so I can play catch up.  I have May 1st already completed – I’m just going through it to take out the bad caps and then that will be uploaded.  We’re still working on getting a new layout up for the gallery which will be a treat and I’m mulling different pictures for the main site layout but that will come soon as well.

We have some wonderful posters in the forum.  If you haven’t done so already you might want to join.  I love reading some of your comments which is why we worked hard to get it up so we could continue those conversations over there.

Also, I have Shelley’s first appearance on Days!  It’s so much fun to see her growth as an actress from her very first scene more than a year ago to what she has become now.  I can’t wait to see what the future holds for her.

Why hello again!

Thanks soooo much to Shelley for the heads up - we now have news about the “Extra” segment she did for their “Trend Shopper.”

 Shelley talked about and modeled: IT Cosmetics Get Wet Waterproof Highlighter & Bronzer.  It’s the 4th row down 4th product.

Update: I’ve uploaded 46 screencaps from the Extra segment and they’re in the gallery.  I think Get Wet is a wonderful product and if you want to help enhance or highlight your stuff this is for you instead of going to a cosmetic surgeon and paying tons of money.  Shelley – did a stellar job selling the product and in the screencaps you can see the before and after – it really makes a difference. I’m also still getting the May caps together.  Don’t worry I’m almost done and its turning out to be a lot of fun since I’m learning new things about the program.  Also, we’re about 50% done with the Media Thetre for SSO and I’m so/so about the quality – when we open I’ll ask you guys how you like the quality.  I think CopperTube galleries are better but I’ll see what you guys prefer.

I just learened that Shelley had an appearance on KSEE, which is a Central Valley news station (Fresno-Visalia).  Darin (Max) gave the local California anchor a tour of the various Days sets and they caught up with Shelley in hair and make-up.  This is from their site:

Brooks says viewers should definitely keep watching “Days,” because he senses some excitement with his character. One thing you can bet, it will probably involve his current love interest, Stephanie Johnson, played by Shelley Hennig. We caught up with her in hair and make- up. As one of the newer members of the cast she said you never know what the writers are going to do with your character.
