So they’ve announced all the categories and Shelley unfortunately wasn’t one of them.  It definitely sucks because I think she and a number of people (Kirsten Storms, hello were they not watching her on GH?) were just jipped in this category.  3 of the 5 nominees were from The Young & The restless alone and can not act nor did they do anything worthy of being nominated, ok maybe Emily O’Brien when she first came back onto the canvas and Jana has a tumor and she was beyond crazy which wasn’t a longshot for the character.

Well, I hope we see her at the ceremony to support her fellow cast members who were nominated:

• Judi Evans - Best Supporting Actress

• Darin Brooks – Best Younger Actor

• Rachel Melvin – Best Younger Actress

• Thaao Penghlis – Best Actor
  

So Congratulations to all of the DAYS cast members who’ve received this wonderful nod to their daytime acting.  I’m pulling for you and I know your fans are.  This is the most nominations I have ever seen for Days and NBC for this ceremony.

The 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will air Friday June 20, 2008 on ABC.  I believe at 8 p.m. - with a 2-hour special on the Arrivals and such on SOAPnet. 

Today is the day that we are finally let in on who the Daytime nominated actors and actresses are for the 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.  Shelley was pre-nominated for Best Younger Actress but it has to be official and we won’t know who it is until today at 11 a.m. EST on The View.

Ok so I FINALLY uploaded that Fashion Rocks picture of Shelley to the gallery – it was in my FTP just waiting to be added; sorry its taken me so long but school most definitely comes first before my sites.  Anywho I’m dunzo with school – Senior Year here I come and I’ll finally walk across the stage and get my BA, go me!  Then onto Grad School – ay… Ok Enough about that…

I’m finishing up saving all of the Daily Image Recap pictures which will then be uploaded to the gallery – followed by the remaining screencaps from April.

The majority of these shall be uploaded today – especially the DIR pics.

CONGRATULATIONS on ONE year… On this day a year ago, Ms. Shelley Hennig appeared nationwide on screens across the US as Stephanie Johnson.  She has come a long way in a year and has amazed people in her portrayal of this character and I’m very proud of Shelley and how far she’s come in her acting and can’t wait to see what’s in store for her in the future with Days and other projects. Admin Note: We’ll have a graphic later. 

Soap Opera Digest did a Fashion Poll online on our Days cutie Shelley.  The poll was about Shelley’s hair and which way you the fans prefer it the: dark and wavy tresses or light, sleek ‘do.

Over 50% (57 to be exact) said they love Shelley in the light, sleek ‘do compared to her dark wavy tresses.

I’m in the middle – I loved both hair styles – it was funny because afer awhile when I would watch the episodes pre change everyday I’d see her hair getting lighter and lighter.

I’ll add a scan of this later for you guys.

Also, Shelley was in last week’s Soap Opera Weekly in their style section, I’m sure you guys remember her cool high waisted jeans at the LA premiere of “Run, Fatboy, Run.”

So I am FINALLY finished with the backdates from Shelley’s airdates.  I finished all of the March dates (except for Mar. 28 – nothing for this date) and I finished all of the April dates as well except for yesterdays date which is not avaialable yet.  So once that becomes available I’ll get that date as well and add it to the fold.  I’ll finish batch adding all of the epsidoes to the gallery later on today (it’s 4:30 EST where I am and I’m tired!) then I can get started on the remainder of the Daily Image Recap images that need to be updated and finally add the event pic of Shelley and I’ll be all caught up on the gallery.

So just be patient and by the end of tomorrow all of that will be uploaded.  Also, we’d like to thank you for all the kind comments as well as the emails – we’re ecstatic that you stumbled upon this source for Shelley as it will soon be the No. 1 spot – and you’re helping make that happen.

Drea and myself are pulling double duty since not only am I trying to backtrack and get these things added to the site – I’m also trying to get things added to another site we’re doing which I’ll touch on more in the future.

Sorry for posting this here but until we get our board up and running this is the place I’ll be posting things like this.  I know you all don’t mind but sometimes it gets to me that we don’t have a board yet and that I write things like this here – but here goes.

 Interersting casting rumors are circulating that one Alexa Havens, may or may not ride into Salem and for Max Brady.  This will be yet another monkey wrench thrown at most of our favorite couple.  She’ll having something or someone in tow that will definitely be a shocker if this pans out.  I read this awhile back on a Stax board and then yesterday on DaytimeConfidential.

You may or may not know Alexa as the original Babe on the East Coast soap All My Children, but since her husband [Justin Bruening] landed the Knight Rider movie (now Fall pilot) a year ago the pair made their way across the country.  So we’ll just have to wait and see if this turns out to be true or not.
