Watch Shelley and the cast of TSC deliver a special message to YOU, the fans!
Gale Harold (Charles Meade on The Secret Circle) did a recent interview with TV Fanatic and here’s the small tidbits that include Shelley’s character Diana.
I had a theory that Diana was actually working with Charles behind the backs of her Circle members. Am I completely and totally off base?
You might be a little off-base. I think Diana is still trying to get a basic understanding of what her Circle actually means. There may be some intuitive understanding that she shares with Charles, but that could only be revealed a little farther down the line.What is Charles’ end game? Is he simply seeking power, trying to protect Diana and the younger generation or both?
I think it’s probably power first, because that will ultimately give him the power to protect Diana.
I liked this because I definitely feel that he is trying to protect her in his strange, fierce, and crazy way. I also love Shelley & Gale’s father/daughter chemistry, connection on the show. Bring on Grandma!

Witches watch out: Charles Meade’s mother is coming to town!
Stepfanie Kramer has signed on for an episode of The Secret Circle, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively. The 55-year-old actress, best known for her role as Dee Dee McCall on NBC’s Hunter, will portray Kate Meade, the equally complicated and strong mother of Charles (Gale Harold) and grandmother to Diana (Shelley Hennig).
Kate, who will first appear in Episode 10, is described as the kind of woman who can warm you with a smile but freeze you with a single glare, which is unfortunate for Charles, who will get caught in the middle of Dawn (Natasha Henstridge) and Kate’s hatred for one another. Maybe Charles learned his people skills from mommy?
The Secret Circle airs Thursdays at 9/8c on The CW
