NBC has added a new weekly preview of Philip going in to save the woman he loves.   You can view the clip below. If you have the time… please read (once I find it again) this spot on interview by Sara A. Bibel’s Deep Soap Blog about the current storyline Shelley/Stephanie is in. I don’t think you’re supposed to laugh as much as I do with this. Shelley is phenomenal as always portraying her fear of Owen and his crazy hot/cold persona and at times her hope of getting out of this situation and back to Philip and those she love (what I would give to have her on-screen parents back!). Back to the article, seriously, this woman is in my mind. I love Wes Ramsey because he’s a wonderful actor but Owen just does nothing for me and I get his remorse for what he’s done to Stephanie considering she did nothing to him and he’s just a lapdog… but the portrayl and way it comes off on-screen – just no! I honestly thought this could have been hot in coming weeks, a la General Hospital and their Zander/Emily storyline if you watched GH back in the late 90s early 2000s. I brought up that storyline to Colleen and she agreed with me initially but now we see nothing of the sort and I can’t wait until Steph is found.
