Hey all,

I’m incredibly sorry to do this, I’ve been having personal issues for awhile now and they’re just getting worse and I’m in extreme pain when I get up, walk, or sit down.  I’m even going to the Dr. today to see what they can do about it so I won’t miss more class.  I’m afraid that the screencaps for the 27th will have to be delayed in being added to the gallery.  It was an amazing episode with S & P and I kept laughing eveerytime Stephanie would say Kiriakis so fast.  These two are really something… so just watch out for when they’ll be uploaded.

 Now, if they take care of this issue today like I believe they will – I should be pretty ok with my mobility in moving around but after my aunt comes and gets me to take me home and we’ll see how up to it I am – I promise if I’m at least 95% I wil add those caps for you before the night falls or at lease before midnight.  So just bear with me a little longer and then you’ll get your caps.

Today, there willl be no taping of Days – or any soap for that matter.  If you’re watching the news now like I am and most of the nation (and possibly the world) then every single station has been covering the 44th President Of The United States Inaguration.  A splendid day in history, as a young one I was told by family, mainly my nana that we’d probably never see ths day – and to have it here, now, and upon us is just amazing.  I will watch from home on my TV – it’s too cold here and along the East Coast to travel down to D.C. to see this live, if it were Summer – sure.

So I’m going to catch up on the caps from the 13th and 14th of this month and have those uploaded for you – so don’t worry – I promise I’m not slacking on the job for you all.  We should probably see DOOL resume Wednesday with fresh episodes.

My really good friend Ana is designing a new gallery layout for SSO, she’s one of the best and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with what (2 pictures) I sent her.  Soooo I should be getting that today and then probably coded in the next couple of days and finally uploaded to the gallery.

 Also, another great, great friend of mine – Mikaela will be redesigning the main website for us but I can’t figure out which photos I want to use.  So I’m very indecisive right now with pictures, so hopefully I’ll make a decision soon. 

Finally got a chance to update the Video Vault–clips from the 2nd, 5th and 6th of January are up!

Soap Opera Digest once again has Shelley in their pages (I like this trend!) and her best friend Ms. Martine.  SOD got candid with Martine for informatin in recalling the fun times she had with Shelley before the glitz and glamour.  They’re really two cute friends and I can’t wait for you to read the article.  The really touching thing you’ll read is about Shelley’s most memorable moment for Martine.  It’s really, really nice.  I love that she’s always there for her family and friends and never once forgets where she came from or the people who stuck by her along the way.  You’ll read some funny stuff as well like nicknames and an incident involving white-out!

I went back to Oct. 14th to find out when I last updated that section of the site.  93 new pictures are in there all the way up to Jan. 6th.  So we’re good on that front.  Stephanie won’t be on-screen again until Monday.  Here are some previews:

Wooo, sorry I’m late with today’s batch.  I was doing site duties for friends, my apologies.  Well better late than never; I’m uploading 202 screencaps to the gallery for the 01-06-09 episode.  HOT HOT!  I really do like them, I’m surprised it took them this long to hook up Stephanie and Phillip – scorching chemistry.  Here’s some previews in case you missed it.

Now I want to be a Days character so I can get paired with Philip.  As I watched the episode just now to cap, Phillip was giving off a lot of Chuck Bass vibes a la Gossip Girl and the sexy Ed Westwick.  Interesting indeed.

We made it!  Sultry Shelley Online has reached a milestone, we’ve been online bringing you news, updates, photos and more on Ms. Shelley Hennig for one year now! It all seems to be going by so fast. I’d like to thank all of our loyal visitors who stop by on a daily basis and spread the word – you all are amazing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Oh man, I’m super sorry.  My life has been kinda hectic this past week with news coming at me from all angles and I can’t believe I didn’t post about this.  I overlooked it when I posted about the scans that day.

The amazing and talented Ms. S celebrated her birthday Friday Jan. 2.  We here at SSO wish you nothing but the best in life, health, career and much more.  Another year older, wiser, stronger, healthier…

In the coming weeks on January 21, 2009 Days Of Our Lives will reach 11,000 episodes!  Wow!  The sudser will join other daytime serials, “As The World Turns,” “General Hospital” and “Guiding Light,” as the only programs in television history to broadcast as many episodes.   That’s a huge achievement indeed.  All 43 years of interesting, intriguing, captivating, deaths, mistaken identities… and oh so much more… wrapped up in sweet 11,000 package.
