The ever amazing Colleen sent over the scan of SOW’s A Closer Look: Stephanie from last week’s issue and NBC finally added a picture of Stephanie for their First Look emails. I added that to the gallery as well.

I just read on the soap blog, We Love Soaps, and he reports that Shelley along with Rachel (Chelsea) and Molly (Melanie) will be participating in the, “Live Positively Holiday Parade,” presented by Coca-Cola, with the help of popular celebrities from the United States and Mexico. The event will be kicked off by Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.
When & Where
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 13, 2008: 5:00 P.M.
The parade will start at Washington Boulevard and Figueroa Street, continuing up Figueroa Street to Nokia Plaza at L.A. LIVE.
My best friend Joanna just emailed me today to let me know that the domain name for the site has been renewed for another year which got me thinking about the site, we’ve almost been online for a WHOLE YEAR! Next month we’ll be celebrating our One Year Anniversary and I can not be any prouder.
I started this site because I was a huge fan of Shelley, not only on Days but in her pageant days as well. I remember watch the 2004 Miss Teen USA Pageant with my mom and us saying Shelley had it in the bag (she’s uncanny with her MUO and Top Model predictions, she gets’s them right!) and indeed she did.
I was frustrated when searching for Shelley on Google or Yahoo! and finding no site or news resource whatsoever… so I set out to change that and thus SSO was born. You all have been with me through thick and thin in helping this site become what it is today.
I’ll blubber more on the actual anniversary date but just know that I am grateful to all of you.
P.S. I’ll be posting later tonight about past updates made to the gallery. We’re in Finals week at University and I only have 1 1/2 semesters to go!
This poll is up on the NBC website and asks the fans who Phillip has more chimstry with. I was semi-surprised by the results since I thought the other die hard fan base would be a tad bit over Steph. I can’t wait for the exciting things to come with this couple, don’t get it twisted – I’m still a through and through Staxer but I don’t want Stephanie to sit off to the side while Max resumes his past relationship with niece No. 2, Chelsea. I swear if that was wrtten good, it wouldn’t have been bad to me like it is. Chelsea goes from loving Daniel to finding out she’s in a classic Jerry Springer episode when she finds out that – her boyfriend has slept with her grandma, sooooo she decides to go back to good ole reliable (always waiting) Nick… only to realize he doesn’t want her anymore and has moved (or should I say stalked) on. So who does she have left to turn to now? Max. Yes indeedy, this is extremely weird to me. Especially Chelsea’s “revalations” about being jealous of Stephanie while she was with Max… um where did tat come from? I can understand if they showed it on her face while we had Stax but they didn’t. Boy, I swear.
Anywho back to the tite at hand. I’ve made screencaps of both for you to see and you can still vote since NBC keeps those up for a long time.
I’m finally getting around to uploading the gallery. My computer at home is sometimes lame, when I upload caps there it’ll upload 10-30 (sometimes more and sometimes less) then it’ll time out. Once I try it again it then repeatedly times out so I have to add them at work/school.
I’m almost done with this semester so YAY – 2 more and I’ll have my BA in Journalism and can go on to Grad School.
But I am getting everything up and Colleen sent us over a scan of Shelley from last week’s Soap Opera Digest where they had Shelley among two other soap stars in the Star Style section and the critics had good things to say about her outfit from the ‘Day of Days’ event.
