I came across a blog from Days own Rachel Melvin (Chelsea). In her blog she expresses how proud she is of Shelley and how far she’s come in such a short time with not being on the show for an entire year. Note: Shelley’s one year anniversary will be in April. Here’s a snippet of the blog post.
“I also wanted to tell you all how proud I have become of Shelley Hennig. This girl has really come a long way in her craft for not even having been on the show for a whole year. I am so proud of her because as a 20 year old (she’s now just turned 21), she’s managed to avoid the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, and focus her time and energy on really bettering her career. It really shows in a lot of the scenes she has coming up, so make sure to tune in to see her work pay off. “
That’s incredibly sweet of her. I think Rachel is one of Daytime’s fast rising young stars and I hope she’s around for years to come. Also Rachel says the Ford Decker storyline will finally be finished! I can’t tell you how happy I am to here this – I want more material for Shelley.
